The Apex Body of Nepal's Tourism Industry

TOA Nepal — the Tour Operators Association of Nepal — is the apex association representing the full breadth of Nepal's tourism ecosystem. We unite tour operators, hotels, airlines, technology companies, professional services, and all partners who make Nepal one of the world's most extraordinary destinations.

Founded originally as NATO (Nepal Association of Tour Operators), the association has evolved to reflect the modern, inclusive nature of Nepal's tourism industry. Our rebranding as TOA Nepal signals a new era: broader, more connected, and better equipped to serve a diverse membership.

We work at the intersection of industry representation, government engagement, knowledge sharing, and ecosystem building — ensuring Nepal's tourism sector grows sustainably, competitively, and inclusively.

Membership Rules & Policies

Who Can Join

TOA Nepal is open to all businesses and organisations operating in or supporting Nepal's tourism ecosystem, including but not limited to:

Licensed tour operators and travel agencies
Hotels, lodges, resorts, eco-lodges, and homestays
Airlines, domestic carriers, and ground transport providers
Tourism technology and software companies
Auditors, legal, insurance, and other professional service providers for tourism businesses

Membership Categories

Full Member: Tour operators, hotels, airlines, and primary tourism businesses.
Associate Member: Technology companies, professional service providers, and tourism-support businesses.
Institutional Member: Associations, educational bodies, and government-linked organisations.

Code of Conduct

All TOA Nepal members agree to uphold standards of professionalism, ethical business practice, and responsible tourism. Detailed code of conduct documentation is available on request and in the Knowledge Bank.
